These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the QuestiCity mobile application and the questicity.com website (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Oleksandr Zharkov ("the Developer", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
QuestiCity is a real-world quest platform offering location-based quests with GPS and QR verification, AR compass navigation, collectible artifacts and tools, progress tracking, an in-story mentor hint system and in-app credits. Quest content is provided for entertainment and exploration.
Quests take place in real public spaces. You are responsible for your own safety: obey traffic rules and local laws, stay aware of your surroundings, do not enter private property or dangerous areas, and do not use the App while driving. Quest content never requires you to break the law or put yourself at risk; if a route seems unsafe, stop and report it to us.
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in the App settings; deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.
Credits are an in-app currency purchased through the App Store or Google Play as consumable packs and spent on hints and premium quests. Prices are shown before purchase and each purchase requires explicit confirmation. Credits are consumable, have no cash value and are non-transferable. There are no auto-renewing subscriptions.
App Store and Google Play purchases are governed by the relevant store's refund policies. For issues with credits or quest content, contact info@questicity.com; we review requests case by case in line with applicable law.
Quests are created by us and by verified quest creators, and are reviewed before publication. We do not guarantee that every real-world detail of a route remains unchanged (construction, closures, removed markers); report outdated points and we will fix or refund affected quests where appropriate.
The Service, including its design, code, content, trademarks and logos, is owned by the Developer or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. GPS accuracy depends on your device and environment and may vary.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, including events occurring in the real world while playing. Our aggregate liability for any claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for legal, security or operational reasons, with reasonable notice where practicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the App or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
